We will be learning:-

Rutter – The Lord Bless You and Keep You

(If you have a copy of it, bring it along. If you don’t, don’t worry, copies will be provided. )

 Plus two very simple chants:-

Iona Chant – We Walk His Way

Taizé Chant – Stay With Me

Calling all young people!!

Come along on Saturday 20th February to Llanyrafon and learn a fab new song for the occasion.

One of the hymns chosen for the Big Sing has eight verses. It is HP814 ‘For All the Saints’, a well-known hymn. What we would like is if each section could take one verse each of the hymn and then join in together for the last verse. It would be a good idea to practise your verse during the next few weeks, just to make sure it goes well. We have split the hymn as follows:-

            Verse 1 – Abergavenny cluster

            Verse 2 – Blackwood cluster

Verse 3 – Abersychan, Blaenavon and Cwm

            Verse 4 – Pontypool cluster

Verse 5 – Ebbw Vale and Tredegar cluster

            Verse 6 – Abertillery cluster

            Verse 7 – Cwmbran cluster

            Verse 8 – All together.
