Trinant Church, one of the smaller churches in the circuit, is celebrating its 110th anniversary on Sunday, 17th April with a special service starting at 6.00pm.

The service will be conducted by a former minister in the old Blackwood circuit, Rev. Malcolm Guest, supported by the Methodist Choir.

Visitors from other churches, who do not have other commitments for this time and date, will be made very welcome.

    “110 Years in Trinant”

Great Britain was founded more than anything else on the principles of the Christian Faith and the Christian Bible. This is, legally, a Christian country. In more recent years – and under successive Governments – the drive to become all things to all people has eaten away at those important principles and left us with no clear choices. Have we all drifted into thinking that nothing matters now?

Like the vast majority of people questioned, do you believe that Sunday School helped to teach us right from wrong and gave us enough insight to make up our own minds about religion when older? Will you give your children that same opportunity?

Did you once attend Church or Chapel regularly? Do you remember what it was that caused you to stop coming? Will you reconsider now? You can be sure of a warm welcome!

On Sunday, 17th. April we are holding our 110th. anniversary service. A very popular former minister, Rev. Malcolm Guest, will lead us in worship. Will you join our celebration?

On the following Sunday, 24th. April – Easter Day – we shall recall the resurrection of Jesus with Holy Communion led by Rev. Gareth Edwards. We should love you to join us on this, the most important day in the Christian calendar.
